A really FAST Mini

A really FAST Mini

The Silver one, with the blue roof, of course. It competes in SCCA road racing on the National Championship level, and is the class of the field in most races. See my friend Chris Kopley drive next at Lime Rock, August 1st in the North East Division National race.
He is currently the fastest Mini in points this year.

For details of the chassis, see: http://flickr.com/photos/pbraun/   : a very neat and clean (powder coated) bit of handy work. Plus, it does work and handles extremely well. Chris just wants a bit more than the 135 horsepower he has in the motor right now. Plans are in the works, as always with these racer dudes.

  1. Wow that fuel cell looks totally different that what I used to have in my off road car.

  2. I think it’s an ATL cell – 8 gallons.
