Now, tequila doesn’t really go with driving any MINI, and the two don’t mix. That being said, I love tequila. It is an often misunderstood spirit – the oldest distilled spirit in North America.
Recently, in Mexico, there was an “Agave Spirits Challenge Tasting”. Tequila is made from the blue agave plant, the best being 100% agave. This tasting was a competition, sponsored I think, by tequila.net. The top overall winner was: El Gran Jubileo Tequila Extra Anejo.
Tequila Mockingbird is a restaurant in New Canaan, CT, and has what is known far and wide to be the finest and largest collection of Blanco, Gold, Anejo and Supreme tequilas in New England, as well as excellent food. Go there and enjoy!

Being the maker of the best Comida de la Calle, Baja in LA, me, I’d say the place looks impressive. Looks can be deceiving though.
Casadores, a fav. My wife Kittie uses Patron Anejo, Patron Triple Sec, fresh limes and our fresh lemons, a dash of sugar and bingo the best Margarita in LA at the Ballard’s hacienda.
Been to Santa Fe? Pasqual’s, The Patio and Geronimo’s have wonderful comida. Coyote Cafe is over priced but does have good food. Miller needs to be there more. My fav, Pasqual’s Mole Chicken and they used to have Chocolate pepper flake ice cream to die for! Kagel does a great job there. Geronimo’s… $$$$ a bit snobby but some of the best food I’ve ever had.
I myself have gotten into artisanal Mazcals. El Rey Zapoteca is a good one.
Sad to say most mex restaurants in LA are crap, but… even a lot of restaurants in Baja are crap.
