At MINI of Fairfield County, in beautiful downtown Stamford, CT, a special event was held all day long. It was a promotional event, with Lime Rock Park, Grand-Am Racing, RSR MINI Race Team and MINI of Fairfield County. One of the race cars was in the showroom, and folks from Lime Rock and GrandAm were there, talking about their programs. Of most interest to our customers was Randy Smalley, owner and lead driver of the RSR race team, who had entered three MINIs in the race at Lime Rock on Memorial Day weekend. The #198 was in the showroom all day, and Randy answered lots of questions. His newest car #196 was in our shop for some work on the prior Friday, getting set for the Koni Challenge race.
